1. Legal system:

(a) Integrate and deploy Ansar and VDP members and members to maintain law and order in national exigencies.

(b) Integrating Ansar into the security of important national institutions.

(c) Employing Ansar in the security of local government or private institutions.


2. Training in Socio-Social Development:

 (a) Basic training of platoon members and members

 (b) Vocational Training

 (c) Technical training

 (d) Technical training


3. Ensuring active participation and cooperation in government services and developmental activities.

  • To assist the police force in maintaining law and order. Eg: - Selection and recruitment of qualified Ansar and VDP for national and local elections, Durga Puja.


  • To send trainees to departmental training courses for imparting various profession-based training as per the qualification of platoon members/members in self-social development.


  • To select and train qualified trainees for various vocational trainings including sewing, air conditioner, refrigerator, electrician, basic computer, motor driving, mobile phone set repair, welding sweater knitting, poultry farming and fisheries and ensure dispatch to various training centers of the department as per quota.


To assist the upazila administration in various developmental works of the upazila.
